🔹 Where to Manage Billing
To update your subscription or view your billing info:
Open the Sludge AI web app
Click Manage Billing from the sidebar menu
From there, you can:
View your current plan and usage
Upgrade or downgrade instantly
Add or update your payment method
📦 Plan Changes
Upgrading your plan:
You’ll be billed immediately for the new plan
Your AI credits will be topped up right away
Your billing cycle remains the same
Downgrading your plan:
You’ll keep your current features until the end of your billing cycle
The new (lower) rate will apply on your next renewal date
No credits will be awarded at the time of downgrade
🔁 Credit-Based Plans
Sludge AI runs on a credit system for AI-powered features like automation and smart captions. Here’s how it works:
Rule | Details |
Credits awarded | Immediately when you upgrade to a paid plan |
Credit expiration | AI credits expire after 2 months |
Plan flexibility | Switch between plans anytime—up or down |
Active plan required | You must have an active Basic or Pro plan to use credits |
Switching plans | Credits stay in your account during plan changes, as long as you're on a paid plan |
